Two friends decided to build a distillery. Over several years of researching through conflicting information, working with licensed distillers, and forging our own path we finally rented a space of our own and started Falling Sands Distillery.
What's Our Deal?
Falling Sands Distillery is a concept that embraces a deep regard for the human spirit and the journey we’ve made into the 21st century. Humankind have traversed the depths of depravity and the heights of love and kindness and we celebrate the beautiful mess that is life with a series of hand-made spirits born from the trials and tribulations of experimentation and inspiration.
We seek out heirloom corns many of which have neared extinction if not for the handful of farmers keeping these strains alive. We hand craft grain to glass products rarely experienced by 21st century humans. We exist between heavenly harmonies and death metal, spiritual apocalypse and dystopian futures, Heaven and Hell, creation and oblivion.
Whether the 21st century is just the last and greatest moment in humankind before technology evolves us into something more than human, or whether we are just a step closer towards the apocalypse, Falling Sands Distillery will continue on the mission of obsessively crafting towards the final spirit we hope to drink as the sun eventually sets on the fantastic, final chapter of human existence.
